    The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is
    the organization of insurance regulators from the 50 states, the
    District of Columbia and the five U.S. territories.
    The NICB is the nation's leading not-for-profit organization dedicated
    exclusively to preventing, detecting and defeating insurance fraud
    and vehicle theft through information analysis, investigations,
    training and public awareness.  Resources include Vincheck and
    Flood Vehicle Database
    Access to Producer Database.  The PDB is a central repository of
    producer licensing information.  Access the NIPR Gateway.  The
    NIPR Gateway is a communication network that electronically links
    state insurance departments with the entities they regulate.

    Your state insurance department is your best source for information
    on company and agent licensing requirements, as available
    products and other insurance industry issues.

    The site offers specific information on auto, homeowner, and
    workers’ compensation insurance fraud. There is also a page
    where visitors can order, free of charge, the IFPA’s informational
    brochures and posters, email the IFPA and connect to other
    insurance fraud-related sites.
    The Rhode Island Insurance Division does not have a fraud unit.
    However, insurers/licensees are required by law to report
    suspected fraudulent/incendiary activities to the appropriate fraud
    units and entities that handle such investigations. The following is a
